Pasture Raised

Pasture raised indicates that we raise our animals on pasture and outside as seasons permit.  For example, sometimes we bring the pigs into barn on deep bedding in the winter mud season. Or sometimes it's appropriate to bring the hens inside on bedding in the winter for comfort of the hens and cleanliness of the eggs.  Pasture raised indicates, when possible, which is 85% of the time, we raise our animals outside on pasture.  Our beef cattle are outside year round.
